Karunya University
Karunya University (established under section 3 of the UGC Act,1956 vide Notification No. 9-3-2000-U3 dt. 26.6.2004 of the Govt. of India) was founded in 1986 with the noble vision to raise professionals of high academic caliber and unblemished character, nurtured with a strong motivation and commitment to care for the underprivileged.
Located about an hour's drive from Coimbatore city in a picturesque 700-acre campus, this "A" grade institution (by NAAC) has produced thousands of outstanding professionals in the past 20 years who are working in reputed organizations and holding responsible positions. Thus, Karunya has emerged as a centre of excellence in engineering studies in India and is widely preferred by students from all backgrounds.
Today, more than 5000 students (both boys and girls) study in Karunya,hailing from various parts of the country and abroad.
